about us

Sharon and I owned and operated a restaurant, live music venue and wine & spirits bar in the greater Seattle from January 2014 until November 2022.

It is called North City Bistro & Wine Shop, and it is still running successfully under new ownership since we sold it a few months ago.

We hope to see you here at some point.

We had an opportunity to move to France and manage and care-take a brand new AirB&B which is/was being built by a longtime friend/winemaker, who I met in 2008, in Avignon.

We are very excited about this opportunity and were asked by Many of our friends and customers to keep them informed of our adventures, so we decided to create this website and newsletter, with a Lot of help from our great friend, Allen, without whom we could Not have done it!
