Bagnols to Beziers & Beyond

Well, we are here, we got a bank account set up, got our phones working and bought a car. None of this was easy but it was all necessary in order to get around
I mean we have been getting around thanks to my daughter Camille, who lives in Luxembourg graciously loaning us her car for a month, but we needed a car eventually, so we got a great deal on a nearly new Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid.

We love it!!

We will start working at our new jobs mid-March, so this is a chance for a few days exploring points south of where we will be living. It is about a 2 hour drive, so not too far, but the weather is even nicer down there.
Here, in Bagnols, where we are staying until our house and the AirB&B (Mas de Toulair) is finished, it is Beautiful, and sunny most days, but the wind is quite strong, so it is Not hot, but very pleasant, as it rarely rains.

This will be our route.

Please check out some of Sharon’s Beautiful pictures in the folders we have created so far.

We look forward to staying in touch!

Wow! That was a lot to get done in a short time — you’ve definitely been busy! And had time for a little side-trip also! Especially after a serious bout of covid! Hope that is all in the past now for you!
I love the photos, looking forward to Sharon’s captions!
Wishing you both the very best as La France and Europe now become your home! Such a fantastic opportunity! Enjoy!
PS. Have signed up for your newsletter and look forward to following along from near Copenhagen, Denmark. 😉

Yes, I tested positive for 12 days, and was totally out of commission for almost a week, but I am fine now!
We have been really busy exploring and getting to know the area and trying to get the new place ready to open this summer.
Should be ready by June or July!
